Mission

HER Lab's mission is to address gaps in health service delivery so people living in Nova Scotia can get what they need from the health system, when and where they need it. We will do this by exploring gaps in health service delivery that we identify with communities  known to experience health inequities.

Team

Lead member, Jennifer Lane, is supported by a large and diverse team committed to advancing health equity in Nova Scotia. We are individuals who have lived and/or professional experience with belonging to and/or working with those who are underserved within current healthcare delivery models in the province. Our diversity spans different identities, community memberships, experiences, roles within the health system, and skill sets. 

What We Do

We work to advance health equity in Nova Scotia. Our projects emerge from this overarching purpose and we work together to develop our ideas, methods, and strategies for sharing information.
